Returning to Quality Inn & Suites Boone - University Area after 21 years brought back fond memories of our stay when it was a Best Western. the staff surprised us with an upgrade to the 'bridal suite', a gesture that truly touched our hearts. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality! Despite minor noise from plumbing and passing cars, our room provided a comfortable night's rest. the convenient location and inviting atmosphere added to our overall positive experience. the complimentary breakfast, especially the tasty cranberry juice, was a delightful touch. the lack of security with doors that didn't lock was concerning. While the hotel offers amenities like an indoor pool and free WiFi, the lack of attention to maintenance and cleanliness was evident. the peeling paint at the pool and manager's dismissive attitude were major drawbacks. We appreciate the efforts of the staff but hope to see improvements in maintenance and cleanliness. As a marine conservationist, I value maintaining the environment, both natural and man-made. Despite the setbacks, the potential for a great stay is evident with some enhancements.
